Question

PDF Embed and Safari 18

Hey folks, as I've seen a bunch of messages on this I thought I'd post this. Currently, PDF Embed is not working with Safari 18 (both desktop and iOS). We are aware of the issue and are working to get it corrected as soon as possible.

When it is corrected, I will post back to *this* thread.

The permament fix has been deployed.

The temporary fix is now live. This fix removes some accessibility features, but again, is temporary, and gets Embed running in iOS18 again.

Thank you, we have tested and communicated to customers.

We'll be monitoring our communication channels on any issues after the fix and update this thread.
Meanwhile wanted to understand how permanent fix on this issue is being planned?

Not quite sure what you are asking - if you are asking if we are working on it, yes, absolutely.

An update:

There is an issue with accessibility support. Our *temporary* fix will be to disable that support until a proper fix can be shipped.

The ETA for this initial fix is Monday.

@Raymond Camden any update on the initial fix promised on Monday, is it live?

Not yet no, the temporary fix caused another issue that we need to determine if we can ignore for now. Most likely we will NOT be able to push the temp fix and will need to wait. As soon as I know I'll post.
