Acrobat 8.1 Update

Hi,

New to the community, I have transferred my copy to my new Laptop and have managed to get things working, including the register licence issue.

I have noted that the product isn't updated to the latest version. I found one website that had a link to an ftp site, but I'm dubious of downloading the patches from there. Anyone know if there is a link on the Adobe site to the updates, or other location, where I can download the updates from.

Adobe no longer link to the old updates. The rule is simple for old download links: If it is on adobe.com, it's official, and otherwise it isn't; there are no alternatives. For Acrobat start at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/

Thanks for that, when I can connect, it work perfectly. I do get a recurring issue, where I can log onto the ftp, I'll download a patch and then I'll get a can't connect message to the ftp site. Not sure why I keep getting the message but when I connect I can download patches, it might just take me a bit of time.
