Acrobat DC update blocked

I recently installed DC under Windows 10 Pro, which went well. But when I tried to update, it gave a message "Acrobat updater is waiting for an existing operation to complete".

Following a reboot, the same message appeared. The problem was solved (with assistance from Support), by the following steps:

1. Run Task Manager as administrator (click right if you are logged into a standard user account)

2. End Acrobat

3. In Processes, end the 4 - 6 associated with Acrobat, including AcroTray (on my system there were 4 I think, but now there are 6)

4. Restart Acrobat

5. Try to update again - Help, Check for updates and follow the prompts.

In my case, the update then installed with no problems.

Suggestion to Adobe - if this is a common problem, you could put a link to a solution on the blocked update screen.

I installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - Chinese Simplified under Windows 10 home Chinese version, my edition is 1709 16299.192, when i try to upgrade Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - Chinese Simplified, i also get that message"Acrobat updater is waiting for an existing operation to complete". I just run Task Manager (not as Administrator), end Acrobat Reader DC and restart it, now my problem has been solved. Hope this will help people who get this problem;)
