AcroCEF.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Hi, I am using adobe acrobat pro dc for digital signatures.I am running parallels on mac and the issue is when I am in windows. It's been working fine for the past few months but I dont know what happened today. here is the error message: AcroCEF.exe - entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point GetBlackListIndex could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcroCEF\libcef.dll.

Can you assist?

Sorry to hear about the trouble and thanks for sharing the detailed description. Looks like due to some reason your installation got corrupted. request you to use cleaner tool to remove the application and its old traces.

Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and reinstall the app.

Let us know if it doesn't make any difference.

I think I may have the answer.  My user had the same thing and it was popping up every few seconds.  When I checked his Microsoft Software Center, there were two pending updates:  Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - MUI Update 17.011.3099 AND Adobe Flash Player 32-bit/64-bit Plugin 31.0.0.108.  I think it was only the first update that was held up that caused the issue.  Once the update was installed, the issue went away.
