I purchased an ADOBE ACROBAT 9 PRO EXTENEDE a few years ago. It was crashed in my old computer therefore I uninstalled it and wish to reinstall it and found out the serial number was invalid.
I purchased it and kept it with me all the times, how could it invalid.
I called the customer service. They gave me a adobe acrobat 9 pro link which did not accept my PRO EXTEND serial number and move me to the forum. Do we have any expert here that could advise?
Thanks
Lucy

You probably purchased a program that had a serial number from another application.
Dishonest people would copy the programs to a DVD and supply the same serial number to as many DVDs as they could.
Adobe has blacklisted serial numbers used for this purpose.
I would contact the site you purchased from, but I doubt they are still in business.

Unfortunately your answer was wrong. I purchased it from CompUSA and they are still in business. They asked me to contact you for assistance.
The link I needed was PRO EXTENDED and your representative only had PRO and PRO did not accept my serial number.
Please send me the right link to PRO EXTENDED and you will be greatly appreciated

I took it you were reinstalling from the original disk and THEN called support? Did you only try with a download of Pro Not Extended?

As I have said, there is no PRO EXTENDED link available from your website or your representative, your representative sent me to this forum and promise that someone here can help.
My old computer has a DVD reader crashed and my new computer does not have a DVD reader. Therefore I could not reinstall from my original DVD disk.
Please help me with a PRO EXTENDED link, or if it is easier, I could compromise with a PRO if you can provide me a valid serial number.
With a company as large as adobe, I am confident that you have a way to fix it.
Thank you!

Take the DVD to a local company that can transfer it to a small USB
stick and run it from that.

Not my website. Not my representative. This is a community forum. If you do get a rep (unlikely) they will explain more politely than me that the product is not supported any more and they won't help.
Computer makers often don't include DVD readers. This does not suddenly make it every seller's responsibility to provide a digital alternative. Plug-in readers are cheap, easy to use, and essential. You can also read it on another computer and copy it with a memory stick.
