Adobe Acrobat DC stopped recognizing my Fujitsu Fi-5120C scanner

Was scanning fine yesterday with Adobe Acrobat DC and Fujitsu FI-5120C scanner attached to a Windows 7 PC.  Suddenly stopped working with Twain Driver Error: Communication failed. Make sure that the power is on, the cable is firmly connected and the scanner is not used by another application.  Fujitsu Twain code DS42019.  Scanner is on and cabled correctly.  Still works with other scanning software, just not working with Acrobat.  I have rebooted, repaired Acrobat install, reinstalled twain driver but still get error message.  Any ideas for a fix?  Thanks

Would you please report this issue: Feature Request/Bug Report Form and help us with the following information:

Acrobat version installed.

Name and version of operating system.

Printer driver version and name, while filing this issue.
