Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 Automatically Closes/Shuts Down/Crashes Every Time Preferences Opened
Whenever the Preferences dialog box would be opened (whether by clicking "Preferences" in the "Edit" menu or by the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + K) in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 on my Windows 10 system, the application closes itself without an error or creating a log. There is no warning and no Preferences dialog opens anymore, it just closes. I frequently use Accessibility settings to view PDF in different colors so I can see them, and one day when accessing Preferences as I usually do to change the "Replace Document Colors" setting it simply stopped opening altogether and instead the program just closes. I am not sure I can call it a "crash" when no error or log is generated, it is more like the behavior when clicking "End Task" on it (which I haven't had to do in a very long time so granted my memory may be slightly dull on how that looks) where it simply closes without any prompts for saving or error of any kind.
I have used the Acrobat Cleaner 2 and Acrobat DC Cleaner 4 twice on everything, restarted multiple times, made sure I'm up to date on 17.011.30158...but nothing works. Now I've noticed that when trying to just install and use Acrobat DC Reader I have the same exact problem with Preferences shutting it down, so again I've tried removing everything from both running both cleaners on both Acrobat and Reader settings and restarting each time and then doing fresh installs but nothing seems to fix this issue so I can't access Preferences anymore to read my PDF files.
Please let me know if there is any other information needed to help me troubleshoot this. Thanks!
