Adobe Acrobat X Standard - Installation File needed

Guest
Nov 22, 2013 Nov 22, 2013

Hello,

in our company we use Acrobat X Standard on a computer. This computer is now replaced by a newer one.

The old original Acrobat X Standard CD is not readable anymore. We still have the Serial Code.

What to do to install the program on the new computer? Where can I download the installation file? Is there another way?

Hope anybody can help!

Andreas

Hi Andreas_,

Acrobat X Standard is no longer available on our website for download. If you had placed an order online then you could have logged in to your Adobe account and download from there.

Since you have bought a boxed product this option is not applicable for you.

I have sent a download link to your email for Acrobat X Standard via Adobe Send Now. You can download and archive the copy for later usage as well.

I was able to re-install the Dell Digital Download software and got Adobe XI Standard re-installed; so I no longer need a link.

Thanks.

I haven't, BUT I did find where to get the installer    this was burried in a different topic on these forum's

http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.html

There is a link for X standard and X Professional.

Follow the instructions under where it says "Note: Very Important Instructions" on that page to enable the download link otherwise you'll get an access denied when you click it.   Basically all the directions are having you do is sign into your Adobe account - this sets a cookie in your browser, then the link will work.  Shazam, you can download the installer.  Worked like a charm and took my serial number as it should.

Good luck!

I purchased my Acrobat online from Adobe and the install option is not found there. I have the same problem, new Laptop want to install Acrobat X on it since I am legal owner and exists on my old failing laptop.

Does a new version need to be purchased because the PC failed?

No..  It shouldn't matter where you bought it originally as long as you have a valid serial number/liscence.  You download the installer file given in the link, and install it.  During the install process it will ask you for the serial number and you should be good to go.

If you do not have a valid serial number you are probably out of luck.  You need that.

Check the same prodesigntools site. You will still need your SN. If you purchased from BestBuy, you should be bugging them, not Adobe.

Rave

Like most everyone else, I have the serial number for Acrobat X Standard and I need to reinstall it onto my computer.  Every link I try automatically kicks me to Acrobat XI.  Please would you send me a link also.  Thank you.

You probably need to get that from Dell, the OEM install may well be different and the regular install may not work with your serial numbers.

Hi Rave,

I am attempting to reload Acrobat X standard onto my new laptop. I have deactivated the software on my old laptop but can find no way to load the new software onto my new laptop. I have the serial number and the software was purchased in February 2012. Could you please help? Many Thanks.

Update: Can someone from Adobe please help with my request above? I have tried the Pro Design Tools website to download the link to Adobe Acrobat X Standard, but it tells me that I do not have permission to access the server. This is getting frustrating.... Please at least give me some options! Thanks
