Adobe Acrobat X Standard - Installation File needed

Hello,

in our company we use Acrobat X Standard on a computer. This computer is now replaced by a newer one.

The old original Acrobat X Standard CD is not readable anymore. We still have the Serial Code.

What to do to install the program on the new computer? Where can I download the installation file? Is there another way?

Hope anybody can help!

Hi Andreas_,

Acrobat X Standard is no longer available on our website for download. If you had placed an order online then you could have logged in to your Adobe account and download from there.

Since you have bought a boxed product this option is not applicable for you.

I have sent a download link to your email for Acrobat X Standard via Adobe Send Now. You can download and archive the copy for later usage as well.

You can also download the same from :

But make sure you follow the very important instructions on the page before initiating the download.

I downloaded a trial of Adobe XI Pro. I uninsalled the trial and my PDF's are now defaulting to Adobe Reader. When I selecet Acrobat X Standard my PC can't find the MSI file. I also lost my Microsoft Word PDF Maker Plugin which I use to run several reports. I can run Adobe X Standard but can't set it as default or use my plugin anymore. Help

UPDATE: Follow the steps on post 86. In order to download the files, you need to have an adobe account and carefully read the instructions. You need to download an initial file in order to download any other files.

I am having problems restoring some of the software included in my Dell PC. The recovery partition was not configured properly by Dell and I need to install everything manually. I have a key for the Adobe Acrobat X Standard but i can't find the installer. Can you share the link to me please?

I'd like an installation file too please. I have to say that this is a time consuming and tortuous process, transparently intended to get you to buy Acrobat XI. Not happy Adobe.

Time consuming and tortuous!! You didn't keep your installer for valuable software and you expect to just be able to download it again!! If you throw a DVD in the trash, do you ask to download the movie again? If you lose a coat, or have your car stolen, do you expect a free replacement?? Many companies today allow you 7 days free download and that's that, unless you pay.

Looking after the stuff you buy, and that includes downloaded installers and serial numbers is YOUR JOB no matter how much you try to shift the blame.
