Antivirus detects threat in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro installation

"The file C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\ElevationManager\Adobe Installer.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.Graftor.730947. The threat has been successfully blocked, your device is safe"

 

I got this from my antivirus when I downloaded the Acrobat Pro DC trial directly from the Adobe website and then installation failed partway through.  Is this a threat or have the installation files been compromised?

Are you familiar with the term “false positive”? Report to the antivirus maker.
