I imported a map from ArcGis into ArcPro and when I export to a pdf it wont let me print them i get a message saying cannot extract the embedded font 'ESRIDefaultMarker' Some characters may not display or print correctly.  Is this an Adobe problem or Arcpro problem? Please help....

If the print view needs to be faithfull, fonts need to be embedded.

But in your case fonts are not embedded, that’s the trouble. Other fonts like Arial and times may find a good replacement, but ESRID... is a special font and should absolutly be embedded.

Look if you do not have an option with the export. A print to AdobePDF could be a work around.

I suppose that you are talking about printing the exported PDF from Acrobat?

Look at the fonts: ctrl/command D for the properties, go to the fonts. Are there fonts that are not embedded?

Yes, I am talking about printing the exported PDF that was exported from ArcPro.

Yes, there are fonts listed when I did the ctrl/command D.

Are the fonts embedded? Which fonts are there?
