Chrome Extension Margins won't Reset to Default
Good Morning,
A couple of days ago, I was saving information from a webpage as a PDF from within Chrome (64-bit, Version 65.0.3325.162; Windows 7 Pro SP1, also 64-bit) where my destination was Adobe PDF. This has been my standard way of "printing information to pdf" for as long as I can remember. Although the page itself was going to print to multiple pages, the only information I required could fit on one page with some adjustment to either scale or margin. Rather than reducing the scale, I adjusted the margins within the Print dialog to be smaller so that it would all fit on the one page.
This morning, I again went to save information from a webpage as a PDF. When the page was displayed after being generated/printed, I noticed that the content was flush left as if no margin had been set at all. I figured I had forgotten to return the Margins setting to Default, but when I looked at the setting, it was, indeed, set to Default.
In an attempt to remedy this, I have tried numerous things - including:
- Clearing cache and browsing history;
- Disabling, removing, and reinstalling the Adobe PDF extension within Chrome;
- Logging into Chrome using one of my alternate identities (thought being the settings were somehow associated with one identity).
Note that if I change my destination to be Save as PDF instead, the margins are as they should be.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Is this a known issue?
I am truly at a loss.
TIA for any suggestions.
Nancy
