I have a specific image that needs to be replaced in hundreds of PDF documents. I am trying automate all or any part of the following process:

  1. Open the document in Acrobat Pro
  2. Go to the location of the image.
  3. Choose Edit PDF.
  4. Right-click the image.
  5. Choose Replace Image.
  6. Select the replacement image.

Any ideas would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks!

Martin

    Hi Martinp,

Thanks for reaching out. As described above you, want to use custom action for replacing an image, correct?

Please try the Action Wizard Tool in the Adobe Acrobat DC and use the steps provided in the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/action-wizard-acrobat-pro.html and see if that serves the purpose.

Let us know how it goes

    Regards

    Hi @Amal

Replace Image is not an option in the Actions Wizard.

I have about 600 files with a typo in a background image that I am wanting to replace... is there another way?
