Decreasing the area marked for redaction

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017

I have a document that has a mixture of recognized text and unrecognized text. After I edit the document to do OCR  I can mark for redaction the recognized text with no issues.  But, for some text it considers as an image it marks two lines instead of one for a few of the words.  I cannot get it to only mark that one word without it selecting both that one word and whatever is on the line directly above it.  Is it possible to alter the size of the area marked before applying the redaction?

You can't change it manually. Either draw the redaction area yourself (hold down Ctrl while using the Mark for Redaction tool), or use a script to change the same of the generated redaction markups.

Thank you!  That was exactly what I was looking for and am thrilled that option is available.
