Edit PDF in Acrobat Adobe Pro DC

I have a PDF form that I started to fill out and now need to go back and edit. When I open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC it is not allowing me to edit the text. How do I edit the original text? Thank you

Also, don't use Edit to change a fill-in form. Just type into the form fields.

Hi Calara,

 

If I understand it correctly, then you have edited a document and saved it. After saving it, the document is not allowing to edit it further.
This is possible in a situation, when you have applied the signature on your document and then saved it. Signing locks the document and restrict to make further changes. So, don't sign it, until you are not finished editing.

 

You may check if there's any signature on it. You would probably have to start all over again with the fresh copy of the form.
