Expanding text boxes using Acrobat DC Forms

PDF Forms, Acrobat, PDF Forms,

I am trying to create a form where I need to type in client notes into various text boxes.  These notes can range from a couple of sentences to several paragraphs. I used to be able to create an expandable text box field in Livecycle Designer that would grow or shrink depending on how much text was entered.  Now that LiveCycle Designer has been phased out, what is my best option for creating a response form that will grow and shrink as data is entered into it.  Can this be done using Acrobat DC Forms?  If not what is my best tool/option for creating interactive responsive forms?

LCD is still available, but you need to purchase it separately from Acrobat.

This is not possible with Acrobat forms, I'm afraid.
