How do I export data from multiple PDF forms in a Portfolio?

I want to create a Portfolio from multiple PDF forms (all the same form) - and export all the data at once.

Thanks for this forum I finally sorted out how to export the data from a single form (Tools->Prepare Form->More->Export->Text).

I thought I might select multiple files in a Portfolio and then go the same route - but the 'Prepare Form' tool is dimmed out when I do that.
