How to add the day of the week without the month & date switching

I'm trying to include a date along with the day of the week on my PDF form in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but every time a date is picked using the drop-down calendar, the month and date keeps switching. For example, if I was to click on the date Friday, July 6, 2018, it would display Thursday, 06/07/18 instead of Friday, 07/06/18 (in the correct format of dddd, mm/dd/yy) and changing the day of the week along with it. The format IS customized due to the program not having this option.

Is there a way for this to be fixed either in Properties or running a JavaScript? Any source of help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
