How to export pdf letterhead to word 2016 without logo changing

I have a letterhead for work in pdf format.  I need to change it to a word document in order for me and others to use in word.  When I exported to word 2016, the logo changed with the letters not going in a curve but a straight line and the letters changed.  I can edit the letters but I can't have the words go in a curve like in the pdf.

My business uses acrobat pro 2017.  It also seems like whenever I export a pdf to word, even without any logo,  there are a lot of errors that I have to edit. I'm surprised that adobe's ocr doesn't work better.  At home I use a different program that costs a lot less and it does a better job than adobe acrobat pro 2017.

Thanks

This is one case where you don't want OCR since it'll try to turn that curved text into normal text.

In this particular case, when you go to convert to Word format from Acrobat, click the Settings button and i) select "Retain Page Layout" and ii) UNselect "Run OCR"

If that doesn't work for you, you can get the free trial version of OnMerge (a popular Word add-in). That will import from PDF into Word with extreme fidelity and it retains vector quality, i.e. doesn't convert to image format.

Note that those inexpensive programs like the one you likely have at home typically convert the logo to an image. Images have limited resolution, meaning that they'll look fine on a screen but will look fuzzy if you print, or if you zoom in on-screen.
