Is there a replacement for Adobe Acrobat Pro X?

Any version has this capability. However, some printer drivers do not pass on the required information to the OS. This needs additional manipulation, i.e. entering the printer set-up dialogue and setting there the corresponding options (pressing print there will return you to the Acrobat print dialogue).

For printing only you can also use the free Acrobat Reader.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 (perpetual license; full price, you have left it far too long for a discount).

Or (recommended strongly) Acrobat Pro DC (subscription only)
