I have a home PC tower that runs XP. It is not connected to the internet. It works great for my home as we use older programs that don't require the internet. Recently, my publisher upgraded his operating system. My older program (Presswriter) is no longer compatible with his computer. So he can no longer open and convert the files I want printed to PDF. He suggested that I purchase Acrobat Standard DC so I could convert my old files to PDF at home myself.
I took my PC to my local computer store. I asked him to download Acrobat Standard DC at $12.99 a month, with the required one year subscription. He said it would work fine for exactly one month until it quit working due to my computer not being connected to the internet. He then suggested I purchase a more expensive ($300) version of Adobe that would stay with my computer forever. But when he got into it, he said it wasn't compatible with the XP operating system.
I really do need the "Print to PDF" feature as it would take years to rewrite all of my old files into another format. Is there a version of Adobe that I can purchase and download onto my PC that will work with the XP operating system and without the internet?
Thanks, Rich

Unfortunately no. No Adobe software runs on XP now.
You need a modern computer running Windows 10 for most Adobe software these days although Windows 7 and 8 are still supported by some applications.
Although it may still serve your needs running 20 year old software, in today's world, XP is a defunct operating system.
If all you need is a utility to save PressWriter documents as PDFs, try a 3rd party (non-Adobe) solution such as the free CutePDF Writer which still supports XP
