Pdf to Word Conversion - Not matching the original text

I am converting a file created on a typewritter from .pdf  format to Word.

The text that is converting into Word does not match the original. In the Word document I get numerous section breaks that should not exist. The font varies throughout the sentences. See sample page attached.

Do you have any advice about settings in Adobe that would improve the conversion?
