Submit button missing Adobe Pro DC 2019.012.20035

Ok so in adobe XI I had all the buttons that this website continually references for creating a form. Now that I have been upgraded to this new version. That button is missing, along with everything in properties I would use to create things like a "submit by email" button.

I used to have the OK in a circle in my tool bar. It has now been replaced with 1239481039213 of the same kind of tool. Add signature, add signature block, add email, add initials. To me this removed all of the correct functionality and replaced it with redundancy that is not remotely needed.

Also where I used to have a drop down when I chose the date type field. I now get a date box, that is useless and does not have a calendar drop down.

Assuming this is probably user error but I have no clue how to fix it or make it better and the instructions everywhere on this website refer to the OLD toolbar that I no longer have. So nothing on here is actually helping me.

Anyone else having this issue?
