There was a RAISE without a handler - Acrobat Pro DC 19.021.20061

I am getting this error in Acrobat Pro DC 19.021.20061, then the application just quits. Doing a search in the forum, I see this issue multiple times and each of them say that the issue is fixed with an update that had just been released. All of the releases mentioned that solve the issue are older versions than I am using. I have "checked of Updates" within the application and it says it is up to date. I downloaded what I think is the latest update from this Adobe, but it is the same version I have and will not update my version. This is a new issue, I have been using Acrobat Pro for a few months on this computer with Catalina, though I think that the last successful time I used it was before that last Mac OS update. I am currently using 10.15.3. Is there another Acrobat update to fix this issue again?

I just found on another thread about this issue back in Nov. 2019 a workaround that works.

Hey guys, I just solved the issue by deleting the Accessibility.acroplugin in the folder

To be more specific, go to Finder - Applications - Adobe Acrobat DC right click the app and choose "show package content' then Contents - Plugins

Find the one named "Accessibility.acroplugin" and simply delete it.

This applies to macOS, Windows may have a similar route as described above.

I'm having the same problem and deleting the folder 'Accessibility.acroplugin' didn't work 😞

have you tried repairing the installation?

I just downloaded the app again and tried to re-install it, but it says that I already have it installed and only gives me the choice to quit the installer or open the version I already have installed. I have uninstalled Acrobat Pro and reinstalled it and even installed Acrobat Reader, but I am having the same issue. I am not sure if the problem is with all PDFs yet, the one I am having an issue with is https://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/phs398/fp4.pdf which is an official government budget template for proposals.
