Cant right click multiple office docs and convert to PDF.  Adobe DC Pro V 2018-02 Office 2013.  PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe pdf.   Winword.exe is also hung up and file is locked.  Have to use task manager to end it and make the file available again.

Hello Kellij,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are getting an error message while converting the Word doc to PDF, Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat installed from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing the updates and try converting the docs to PDF.

Try the solutions from the Adobe article Troubleshoot Acrobat PDFMaker issues in Microsoft Office on Windows

Also, try resetting the Acrobat preferences once and reboot the machine, to reset the preferences, please refer to How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

Try repairing Office once and reboot the machine.

If the issue persists, please share the following details:

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

I have the same issue in my environment.  I've seen this happen on Windows 7 with Office 2010 and Acrobat Pro 2017 as well as Windows 10 with Office 2013 and Acrobat Pro 2017.  I've tried reinstalling from Acrobat, repairing Office, no change.  All my installations are done via SCCM, I only mention this because I had seen another thread where they were also having this issue and they also were using SCCM to deploy Acrobat Pro.

In addition, we just upgraded entire firm from Acrobat 10 and 11.   Prior to the upgrade this functionality worked without issue.
