Question

Unable to sign in as a guest

Hello,

when I send my clients the invitation to review the PDF-File, they only get the possibility to login. There is no possibility to review as a guest. What could be the reason for that?

Thanks in advance

Andreas

If the reviewer attempts to leave a comment without signing in, the user will be prompted to sign-in OR continue as a guest. That is the only way I've found to implement the guest functionality.

We are experiencing this same issue. We just started using the cloud-based option for PDF shared reviews, instead of using a local server. For the majority of reviewers it seems to be working fine so far. But some users do not see a "Guest" option when they click the link I send them, just like what Andreas shows above. This is the case regardless of whether I use a link for anyone to join the review or whether I send a direct invite.

Downloading the most recent version of Acrobat Reader did not help. The people having problems have tried in Internet Explorer and Chrome.

Are there browser settings or plug-ins we should change or install?

Thank you!

Hi Andreas,

Could you please let us know who exactly they are opening the document when you send them for review?

Are they trying to open it online on Document Cloud?

Would it be possible to share the screenshot of the option they get when they open the file for review?
