Hello
I am using a virtual pc with windows XP in it. I want to export some old pagemaker files into pdf and need acrobat distiller. The Chat Support people gave me the link for the latest version, which obviously does not run in the virtual pc environment. I am sure Adobe must be having some link for old, now defunct versions of Acrobat Distiller, which I can use for a day.
Can someone please guide me how to go about it?
Thanks

You need Acrobat X or earllier. Distiller is not a separate product. That said, PageMaker did include Distiller with its later versions, it was not a separate purchase.

I had a trial copy of PageMaker 7.01 and it did not include the Distiller. Because first it asked for a Postscript printer driver and then asked for the distiller.
Anyway, I somehow installed a dummy Postscript printer drive, managed to get Acrobat Distiller 5.01 online and my job is over. I successfully exported my pagemaker files as Acrobat files.
Please close this thread.
Thanks
