Please describe your needs in more detail. Millions of PDFs are sent online. MIME is often used automatically, but nobody has to do any conversion.

JPG2.pngJPG.pngHey Test screen,

Thanks for your reply , the problem is one company asked me to send my CV online in PDF file , then while uploading its says that you have some forum error please upload it in a mime pdf file.

I don't know how to do that or how it could be done.

Any idea ?

Thanks again

No, it doesn't say to upload as a mime PDF file. It specifically says "Please enter a value with a valid mimetype", which is something entirely different.

Check that the file you want to upload is already a PDF file. And check that the file name ends .pdf (dot p d f), this sort of error usually means the name is not right).

Alternatively... If you don't already have a PDF and need to make one, what type of file is your CV today?

Hey,

I tried to upload it before while the name of the cv is my name then end with .pdf but its not happening!

Then I upload it with another name with .pdf also not happening.

My Cv was in word, then I copy it then saved to pdf from the option in word (SAVE AS PDF FILE) then upload it.

Do you think the size of the CV , has something to do with it?

Actually, I've done some research and this message comes from the web browser, because it doesn't recognise the file. Still could be an error in the web page, but perhaps there is another solution. Tips:

1. Make sure Adobe Reader is installed and runs normally (I know you say you have it, but double check).

2. Try a different web browser. For instance, Google Chrome.

Okay ,

That's sounds a good idea.

I will try your tips and I will let you know what is happening later.

Thank you for your time and reply.

I appreciate it.

This sounds like a fault with the web site, sorry to say. You probably need to contact the people who operate it. The message doesn't say anything is wrong with your PDF, it says (in a very technical way) that the file is not a recognised file type.

DO you think my ADOBE READER has something to do it , shall uninstall all it then install it again before I contact the website admin?

Sorry to bother you.
