hello all,

in the Internet Explorer age it was still possible to send PDF's directly via Outlook connection.
I miss this function in EDGE or CHrome. The offered extensions do not list the functions anymore. Is there a possibility of which I do not know yet.

many greetings

Hi Jonny,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Currently, it is not possible to use this feature as the browser does not use the plug-in.

However, you may use the Acrobat Online account to send PDF via email as a link.

The other option is to use the Open in Acrobat option and send it via email.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Tayfuny,

Thank you for reaching out.

It seems that you were using the Acrobat and Reader plug-in on the Internet Explorer browser to open the PDF.

The Acrobat/Acrobat Reader plug-in for web browsers relies on the cross-platform plug-in architecture NPAPI. Chrome and Edge have dropped support for NPAPI, and therefore Acrobat/Acrobat Reader plug-in does not work on these browsers anymore to display the PDF. For more information, please refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-in-browser.html.

The browser uses its PDF viewer to open the PDFs on the browser. However, you may use the Adobe Acrobat extension on these browsers.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thanks Meenakshi,
I use the Chrome/Edge extension of Adobe Acrobat already. I only miss the feature to send PDF from browser directly to mail (Outlook). See screenshot. Is there any way to continue using the feature in this regard?

(Internet Explorer Adobe Plugin)
