Can no longer convert a PDF to Word

I can no longer convert any PDF file to Word.  After opening the PDF file, the menu box on the right states "Your current plan is ADobe Export PDF", but nothing happens when I attempt to click on any option.  It worked fine until recently, not sure if I possibly changed a setting.  I am running Window 7 Professional.  I can go to https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf  and it work fine.

I also noticed I can no longer save a PDF file as "save as".  The screen open a blank box.

Thank you

Launch Adobe Reader back and sign in, then check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader and try exporting the PDF file.

If after updating Adobe Reader, you are still not getting the Export option, then use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove installed Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

I've been having the same problem for a year or so now. I have Adobe Acrobat Export PDF. Twice I've had to call & was directed to download my PDF to Adobe Website in order to convert - this is rediculous - the name is EXPORT PDF - what's the use in paying for something you can't Export directly without going to all that trouble. As for rebooting your computer, being sure the App is updated, etc. I have CCleaner to clean my computer & update any needed Apps, Drivers, etc., & I regularly reboot my computer. With Adobe assistance, I did that once before, had to take Adobe completely off my computer and reload it - I don't want to do this every time I need to convert a PDF to Word! I'm about to give this Subscription Up!

Hi DeeBM,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.

As you are using the Acrobat Export PDF service, it will work with Acrobat Reader. If you are experiencing an issue, we suggest installing Acrobat Reader using the following link: https://adobe.ly/3NQDtE7. See if that changes anything.

You can try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
- Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/4fmF0xA).
- Reboot the machine
- Install Adobe Acrobat Reader from the following page: https://adobe.ly/3NRQI7B;

Let us know if you are still having any issues, and we will get this checked.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
