can't edit security features of my pdf files - why??

i just sighned up for Acrobat xl service

i can open & create a pdf on my computer

however when i try to edit the security options i can't

why??

i keep getting a message telling me to renew my subscriptions

& if i did so then to retry in 15 minutes....

it's been an hour & still getting the message

does adobe simply not work on the weekends at all??

according to my account i paid & have a current active subscription

help!!!
