Hi
Please let me know which software are you using to compress the pdf files ?
Please follow the steps below to reduce the size of the pdf :
- Launch Adobe Acrobat.
- Click on the menu "File > Open" to browse your computer and open a PDF.
- Choose "Reduce File Size" under the menu "File." Then select a compatibility option (for instance, "Acrobat 5.0 or later") and click "OK." The "Save As" window will open.
- Type a name for the new file and click "Save." Note if you select the same file name as the original one, you will need to confirm replacing the existing file by clicking "Yes."
If you want to view what elements in your pdf is causing increase in the file size and adjust accordingly you can go to "File > Save As > Optimized PDF"
A new window "PDF Optimizer" will appear. Here on the top right corner you will notice a button that says "Audit space Usage".
When you click on it you will notice a window displaying the memeory used by various elements of the pdf viz Images, Content Streams, Extendded Graphics etc alongwith the size as well as percentage of occupation in the pdf.
You can then adjust the pdf accordingly in the PDF Optimizer Window.
