Hi Seank,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you are have mentioned above, you are not able to change the font and color of the text you add in the PDF form.

You can only change the font and color of the text in the PDF form when there is a form field added to the PDF.

Also, if there are no predefined settings added on the PDF.

As you are using Fill And Sign to fill the PDF form, it seems there is no form field added to the PDF.

If you are using "Add Text" feature in Fill & Sign tool, sorry to say th

I was having the same issue, and the color dot wasnt appearing afrer the sign icon. I thought maybe its hiding but didnt see where i could extend the tool bar. So I clicked to full screen and it stretched out the menu bar , and sure enough and the color dot menu was right next to the "sign" icon. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I was just trying to change the font to look cursive for a signature line and couldn't figure it out at all. Totally ridiculous a simple command is so hard to complete. Your explination on exapanding the layers showed me where I could set up the signature. This should be the actual answer for sure.

Hi there!

Tools -> Fill and sign -> be sure tat you see all the options in the "Fill and sign" row (if not, right mouse click in Windows to enable it): the last one on the right side is "Change color" Q.E.D.

Unfortunately, this does not work. Black filled in text, stays black. The color swatch I choose gets a √, but the text stays black.

Hi Jaydude-wb,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you wish to change the color for the text you fill in using the Fill & Sign, you will need to select the "Add text" tool and then change the color. The color change will work for the tool selected at the moment and the text added after that. There will be no change in the color of the text that is already added by this. Use the steps as suggested below:

1. Select the Add text tool.

2. Change the color.

3. Type in the text in the PDF.

To change the color of already added text: Select the text added and change the color manually.

Hope the information helps.

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I found I had to click the A|B in the top right after inserting text to have it change to fixed width.

It then changes to |Ab to signify you can change back to nonfixed width

Im not sure if it was necessary but before I saw this I clicked Edit --> preferences --> Font Options , and changed both default and fall back to courier which is fixed width ... this helped me fill in forms with fixed boxes for each character.
