    Hi patmcct,

To select text in the converted Word document, it's sometimes necessary to triple-click in the text block that you want to select. Then you can simply choose Edit > Copy in Word.

If you're still unable to select the text, it could be that it was converted as an image. But that would be unlikely, as ExportPDF converts image text to editable text by default. (You can disable this process--called OCR--via Reader, but there's no way to disable it if you convert via the ExportPDF website.)

Please let us know how it goes.

It is not working - it says there is an error and everything is converted

distorted. In addition if it is converted, it comes as an image. There

must be something wrong. I do not want the service if I cannot cut and

paste. I have been working on this for 5 hours.

    Hi PMT,

I can understand your frustration. Would you like me to take a look at the file for you?

    Best,
