How do I deleted unwanted and redundant Adobe files and documents?

    Correct answer Sara_Forsberg

Ah, I see! You can change that by updating the Documents Preferences in Reader. Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Reader > Preferneces (Mac OS), and then click the Documents category. Enter "0" for Documents in the Recently Used List, and then close and restart Reader.

That should delete the ones that were there--and then you can set the preference back to whatever number you choose to see recent files listed going forward.

    Hi pressedrat92,

If you're referring to files stored in your Acrobat.com account, log on to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files with your Adobe ID and password. On the Files list, select the file or files that you want to delete, and then click Delete at the top of the window.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

I'm sorry I should have been more specific.

I have copied to CD disk the files I wish to save or modify. I would like to delete from Adobe Reader XI all files that are listed as Recent when I click on the "Open" folder. Thanks for your Help,
