I have to send several hundred individual emails, and cannot use mail merge feature (don't ask). I don't want to have to answer do you want to send a cloud link every time? Can I reset that so it defaults to no? OR turn it off?
Thanks.
I found it...thank you. It's in the Adobe "My Account" icon in the ribbon under settings.
Hi,
I just figured this out. It's on the Home Tab Ribbon in Outlook (Full Client) under the My Account option. Click on that icon and go to settings. In there you can turn off the setting to Never Prompt.
The answer in ths post regarding Add-ins lead me to the full answer. Here are the steps:
1. In Outlook, go to File -> Options -> Add-ins - > Manage COM-Add-ins, Go:
2. After you Click "Go" you'll get a pop-up dialog box:
3. Uncheck Adobe Document Cloud for Microsoft - Outlook
I just tested it in Outlook Office 16 and it removed that Adobe Cloud pop-up.
Good luck!

Can you please give more thorough instructions I can't find the option. Is the ribbon in Pro DC or in the Creative Cloud Desktop? Screen shots would be helpful, thank you.

Possibly the Adobe add in is not active? Try looking in the Options>Add-ins and then see if Adobe Documetn Cloud for Microsoft Outlook - Acrobat is checked. I tested this on mine by unchecking that add in and clicked ok and then is disappeared.

That's not really the full answer, that's the bonus answer, the question was how to turn off the cloud link prompt not how to disable Adobe.

I did exactly that yesterday, and today it reset so a PDF attachment in Outlook gave me the message about attaching via the cloud. I do not want it done via the cloud.

TYSM for this fix for infuriating issue that is IMO deliberately ignored to steer users to unwanted features. So unbelievably frustrating and ridiculous that not only does Adobe arrogantly pushes users to crappy cloud and other nonsense, while settings to remove their unwanted bloatware is buried in many different places to avoid removal and continue to intrude and hijack our workstations
Forcing users to "DIY" help from other users? Seriously flawed customer service for this pricey messy app with juvenile icons and incoherent features.
Thank heaven finally one user found solution. Appreciated!!

Thank you sooooo much. It was driving me crazy. and it was as though each time someone found a way to disable it, Microsoft hid that option or removed it. I am on Wndows 11 and I could not locate any of the previous "fixes". I was going a little nuts. This very detailed explaintion to find the well hidden add on was a lifesaver. I had to write and thank you. Let's see where it gets buried in future updates !!
