How do I update this in an attempt to get my file conversion to work again ?

Adobe doesn't provide any customer service, what a terrible company!

I see that you have subscribed for the Export PDF subscription which would help you converting pdf file to word,excel & ppt format.

Are you trying the conversion online via https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf or using Adobe Reader DC?
