I convert to PDF from word but the fonts are not embedded, the word doc is saving the fonts embedded, but the conversion does not embed the fonts? What do I have to do to get fonts embedded?
I was using times new roman in word 2013. New file. Apparently the version of adobe that I am using will not embed. I am using the on line version. I have been told I need to upgrade to Adobe Pro. I am dealing with a patent application, so I can not share the document. The patent office can only accept documents with embedded fonts. Hi FV35,
How well a file converts depends largely on the quality of the original file.
Is it possible for you to share the document with us, if it is not confidential?
I will check it from my end. Please add the link to this forum post for reference.
I have sent you my contact details on your email id.
Regards,
Florence

Can you please tell us about the fonts used in the document? If you've used Adobe Type Library fonts, those should be embedded in the PDF. But, some third-party font companies set their fonts to "no embedding," which would prevent them from being embedded.
Best,
Sara

Unfortunately I signed up for this product only to get these two documents converted and uploaded only to find out that the conversions will not upload.

Ah, I see! If you'd like us to cancel your subscription, as it didn't work out for you--I would be happy to do that for you. And, you are welcome to try a free 30-day trial of Acrobat Pro if you'd like. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
Best,
Sara

Sara,
That would be great if you could cancel my subscription! I really appreciate it. I just didn't know that the version I signed up for had limitations. Thanks!
