I have free Adobe Reader..why can't I convert a rtf to pdf using it ??

I have free version of Adobe Reader...why cana't I use it to convert my resume to a pdf file ?!

    Hi jstamesngr,

    Adobe Reader lets you view and comment on PDF files, but not create PDF files. For that, you need either the Adobe PDF Pack subscription or Acrobat. You are welcome to try Acrobat for free. You can download the 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

    Can't afford the pack and don't use adobe enough to justify expense..I hate

    they're so chinchy on free offerings
