I tried to convert a scanned PDF document and the results were partially garbled. Any solution?

    Hi stevem,

    What software did you use to scan to PDF? Some third-party applications write PDF files that don't conform to standards. If that's the case, then the PDF file may not include the information necessary to ensure a clean conversion. You may have better luck if you change the scanner settings--and make sure that the scan bed is free of smudges.
