Hello, I work at a large company where most of my coworkers do not have Adobe licenses like the designers do, but we use Adobe Acrobat for sending PDFs to our team for review. Up until recently, there has never been an issue with them opening the "live" PDF generated cloud link in the web version of Acrobat, so they can all review and make comments at the same time. However, recently, if I (the designer with the Adobe license / access to the full Creative Suite) mark a comment as "resolved" in my Adobe Acrobat app version (not web), the comment disappears entirely and my team cannot see it. I have tried teaching them how to use the "filter" icon to filter on the resolved comments, but it does not have the same options as I do. It does not let them select the filter to view "resolved" comments, too. They are just gone entirely. This is causing major issues in our internal review process because if I make an edit and "resolve" the comment for my own tracking purposes, the comments goes away and if someone else reviews later, they keep making the same comments / doing duplicated work / or make a contradictory comment to one I already resolved, all because there was no way for them to see one that another director already made! Does anyone have any advice or solution? Thank you.

Hi Amy25035139gjli,
Thank you for reaching out.
Please let us know if the workflow you are referring to here has worked fine before.
We will need to understand the complete workflow to provide you with the correct information. It would be helpful if you could share screenshots or a screen recording of the steps you use, which are not available to the other free users.
Share a sample PDF file so we can try to replicate the behavior on our end.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi @Meenakshi Negi thanks for your reply.
Yes, the workflow I am referring to in my first post has successfuly worked before. My non-creative team members used to be able to open a live PDF on the web, and turn on the filter to see "resolved" comments. Then, it stopped working and the "resolved" comments would dissappear. However, now it seems to be working again! Must have just been a bug. But it caused quite an ordeal.
I ended up teaching everyone how to just open the live PDFs in the desktop version, instead of web, and it seems to be working better because there are more filter options. E.g see first screenshot attached of the desktop version – you can filter comments by "read" or "unread", and "resolved" and "unresolved". But (see second screenshot of web version) those options are not available on the web version.
So, if others are experiencing the same issue, definitely consider using the desktop app version, not the web version. It was quite a pain to get everyone on my team to shift to desktop version, though, because we needed company approval on all their Dell computers to download the Adobe Acrobat app. Would be great if Adobe can make the web version have all the same options as the desktop version.
Thank you!
