OCR with PDF pack

I am perplexed by OCR with the PDF Pack subscription. There appears to be no way to OCR a PDF (from, say, a scan made inside the app or a PDF imported which has no text layer). Oddly, you can export a PDF to other document formats like docx, and text recognition is an option. But, unless I'm missing something, there's no way to ocr a PDF so that you end up with a PDF with a searchable text layer. This is the entire reason I bought the expensive monthly subscription. Am I missing something here?
