PDF flagged with Virus

Some of our customers are reporting that our generated pdfs contain a virus when they attempt to upload to Adobe PDF services. I've tried a few different pdfs and have confirmed the problem. It seems that pdfs which have pdf attachments may be the culprit. What software/version is used to scan for viruses?

    Hi Zacharyf90846629,

Please confirm the application used to create the PDF you are working on.

Also, mention where and when exactly are you prompted they contain a virus.

    Thanks,

    Supriya

    Hi Supriya,

We've been using Adobe Distiller, I believe it's version 6.0. It's been in our production system for years. The prompt appears during the upload file process. It begins uploading the PDF,  fails, then the virus dialog appears. Both files in my experiment were created with the same system, the difference was one has pdf attachments.

    thank you,

    Zach-

    Hi Zacharyf90846629,

Please confirm if you are still getting the virus prompt as of today, since some changes have already been done at our end.

Also, confirm you get the prompt when trying to upload the file on document cloud or some other location.

    Thanks,

    Supriya
