Hi nathanb,

Where are you trying to open the file that you've scanned (what application are you using to edit the scanned file)? I'm not sure we have enough information to go on just yet. Please provide some more detail about the file you're trying to edit, what application you're using, and whether you're on Mac OS or Windows (I'm guessing Windows because of the blue screen that you describe--is that correct)?

Best,

Sara

Sara:

Appreciate your e-mail response concerning my recent question concerning Adobe PDF Pack Subscription renewal (Order # AR909425133US)

Scanning document with HP Office Jet Pro Printer Assistant

Saved as PDF file

After scanning document, unable to edit file .pdf file (Screen turns Blue)

In the past, I was able to scan a document as .pdf file and open immediately and edit the document

ASUS Computer includes Windows 8.1

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you
