Signature being stripped from PDF when compressing

Question

When I am compressing a PDF that has previously been signed in Docusign via Adobe Acrobat online it removes the signature (tried low, medium and high compression).

If I compress the same document using the Acrobat Pro application the signature is not removed.

Is this by design or is there a way I can resolve this?

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the delay in response.

Could you please confirm if the issue occurs with a particular document or any document signed with DocuSign?

The document signed via Adobe Sign gets encrypted, and it is not possible to make any changes to that document.

However, DocuSign is a third-party application, and we will need more information to get this checked.

Please check if the issue occurs with other PDFs too. If possible, share a sample PDF with us.
