Text disappears in adobe acrobat in sharepoint

Hi,

We use Adobe Acrobat in the Microsoft online suite. Using PDFs to view in TEAMs, and to edit in SharePoint among multiple users by adding "text comments" on the PDFs. The issue we are encountering is that some of the text comments become "invisible". The edits staff make to the PDF are still there, and are visible if you are just viewing the files in TEAMs, and if you print it they are there.

It appears to be random when the error happens, and by opening and closing the file repeatedly until the text is visible again.

We are using the Chrome or Edge browser, and the errors has happened on both. As well as multiple machines running Windows 10.

Attached are images of invisible text comment boxes that are still there and "selectable", but you cannot see what the text is. The images have a dozen different text comments that are not visible.

Hi Dorian309901255ow8,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Could you please share the complete steps by steps process to view PDFs in Team and edit it in Sharepoint?

It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording to understand it better.

The screenshot shared does not show much to understand the issue. It shows that you have opened the PDF on the Chrome extension, and no comment column appears. Let us know how you are opening the PDF.

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thank you for the response.

I do not know how to produce a screen recording. If you have an easy program I can try.

I've attached a picture of the Sharepoint with the files. I don't think the TEAMs portion is relevant, as the editing and invisible text errors happen in the Sharepoint extension. From this screen we open the files, and sometimes the text comments are invisible.

Also, attached is a picture of one of the file opened with from the Sharepoint screen with text comments being invisible, but all the comments are still there as seen in the comment log.

Additional information about this error, not all the text comments are invisible. Some on other pages are still visible. The error does not happen all the time, and sometimes we can reopen the same file and all the comments will be visible again.
