Virus Detected (403), Your file could not be uploaded because it contains a virus.

From a Windows 7 Ultimate PC I tried to upload a PDF portfolio containing 35 PDFs. The upload failed with the message "Virus Detected (403), Your file could not be uploaded because it contains a virus."

It is highly unlikely that this PDF portfolio or its 35 PDFs contain a virus. It passed a scan by Microsoft Security Essentials. Any suggestions?

Hi Bill,

Sorry for not seeing this earlier.  Are you still receiving errors/warnings when uploading files to Acrobat.com?

I just uploaded two similar PDF files without a problem. - Bill

Yeah I'm experiencing the same problem with a pdf file but, my norton virus scan reports no threats. I also used Jotti's malware scan and got 0/19 different av sw detection's. the pdf is the 2nd edition of a book, I have the 1st edition of the same book already uploaded in my dc. Any suggestions?

The virus scan is likely being done by the web site to which you are uploading. What is that?

I signed in to Acrobat.com, under Files I clicked the Upload File icon, I selected one PDF file in a local PC folder, and after the Uploading process I receive the same error message about a virus. - Bill
