pdf convert to xlsx is unreadable
Trying to convert pdf bank statement to xls using Export feature
File comes up "unreadable content, fix ?"
Click yes and screen fills with random characters but surely not numbers

As per the description above, when you convert a PDF file into an Excel, the file is unreadable, Is that correct?
Try exporting the PDF file to Excel online at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password on a different browser and see if this brings any difference.
Have you tried exporting any other PDF file to Excel and have checked whether the issue is reproducible? Try converting any other PDF and check.
