Why the Adobe Sign function is disabled. The message below page says that Adobe Sign is not available now, try later. When later? I need to send out documents kind of urgently. Please help.
This is a user-to-user support community. It appears Adobe Sign had an issue earlier today but should be working now.

I have the Acrobat PDF Pack and have been using AdobeSign every week for 1.5 yrs. I am suddenly no longer able to circulte a PDF for signature - I can only add my own signature? What happened to that functionality? I urgently need to send documents out for signature today. I never downloaded a desktop app and have always just used the online option.
Thinking I'll just pay for a month of DocuSign...this is ridiculous!

Hi Lets Talk Voip,
Sorry for the delay in response.
We have checked your Adobe Sign account with the email address used to sign in to the community, and it shows as a free Adobe Sign account. We see that you are subscribed to Acrobat Pro DC.
Could you please confirm if you changed your Adobe ID recently?
Please try opening Acrobat online account using this link: https://acrobat.adobe.com/ and sign in using your Adobe ID. Then go to the E-sign tab and select Request Signatures. Check if you can send the document for signature without any issues.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

I havent changed my acoount or anything to do with ID's.
I was able yesterday to send a document for signature request via adobe acrobat PRO DC. However, via the link you sent me it doesn't allow me to. I have attached the screenshot of what comes up when i click on the request signatures button on the main screen.
I have also attached a screenshot of following your below instructions of going to esign - it doesnt give me the option to request signatures??
Also attached is all tools screen.
I have a paid account and have done since subscribing. I have lost a months worth of fee's as the main reason i use adobe hasnt functioned. I am not best pleased.

It has been several days since your post however I still cannot access my Adobe Sign. It isn't available in my Tools selection and I can't search for it. The only tools available under Forms & Signatures are Fill & Sign, Prepare Form and Certificates. I needed this option yesterday, 2/10/22, and couldn't resolve it. Today, I logged into the web and did it there which was a workaround however I need access to the tool on my desktop again. Is there something that I am missing? Thank you - Valerie

Hi Valerie,
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble.
Could you please confirm if you are using the application on the personal machine or the work machine? If it is a work machine, how exactly was the application installed?
Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the Tools window? Also, go to Fill & Sign tool and share the screenshot of the options you get there.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
