Hi there,

I've created a number of web forms from pdfs today and they all have the error message "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'includes')".

I tried installing the adobe extension for Chrome because that seemed to solve the problem for other people but it hasn't helped in this case.

If anyone can tell me how to fix this, that'll be great.

Thank you

Just as an addition to this, I've tried uploading the form in both PDF and word format with the fields added as well as in PDF and word format without the fields added and added the fields online. In all cases, the NAME field wouldn't appear on the final document, so I replaced all the fields with text fields.
Also, the tooltips aren't appearing on any of the documents no matter which program they were inputted in - word, pdf, online.
I've tried doing everything in Chrome and Brave, and I've deleted my browsing history and done everything again.
I'm heartily sick of this now.

I've realised that it's something to do with adding a cc into the form when you're setting it up

I am also running into this issue where the webform cc seems to be causing some trouble. My cc'd end user is reporting that they get an error saying "Your link to this agreement has expired. To access this agreement you need to request a new link. <button> Send new link. If you have an Adobe Acrobat Sign account, you can also log in to view all your agreements."

They said they can get it to work by requesting the new link but its many documents and that is kind of a pain. I do not think they have a Sign account so we cannot try that option unfortunately. Given the date you originally posted and the date they informed me about this issue, I'm wondering if there was some update that messed things up? It was working just fine until recently it would seem. Hopefully Adobe has a fix for this soon.

Hi Chris28519742pw4r and Karen_Beachy12,

Sorry about the delay in response.

This seems to be wired behavior. Please let us know if you are still experiencing the issue. Would you mind sharing more information on what happens? It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording.

The information will help us to replicate the behavior and investigate it further.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi MeenakshiNegi,

Thanks for getting back to us. The cc'd receivers of the signed documents are still getting this error when clicking the view link.  They are still able to view and download the pdf from Gmail because it shows up as an attachment at the bottom of the email. It is only when they click on the link to view it on Sign in the browser that they get the screenshotted error message.
